Teaching Practice (16/1/2024-23/1/2024)

 DAY 34 (16/1/2024)

The 34th day of teaching practice started as we reached School by 9:30 a.m. It was a regular working day and I had classes in 9A 9B and 9C. Today I conducted sociometry for the class 9A students as part of a B.Ed curriculum.

DAY 35 (17/1/2024)

The 35th day of teaching practice started as we reached the school by 9:30 a.m. As per the time table I had classes in 9C 9B and 9A. Today during the fourth period I got a substitution in class 10 B and HM asked me to take them to the ground for PT. We helped to serve the mid day meal during the lunch break.

DAY 36(18/1/2024)

The 36th day of teaching practice started as we reached the school by 9:30 a.m. As per the timetable I had classes in 9A 9B and  9C. I got a substitution in class 7C and engaged them with word activity like dictation. The students were very cooperative and made the learning activity interesting. We helped to serve the mid day meal during the lunch break. 

DAY 37(19/1/2024)

The 37th day of teaching practice started by 9:00 a.m. Regular classes where conducted and I had classes in 9A 9 B and 9C. I got a substitution in class 10 C and took them for PT. During the lunch break we helped to serve the mid day meal.

DAY 38(20/1/2024)

The 38th day of teaching practice started by 9:30 a.m. today classes were held as a compensation for the public holiday on Monday as part of makaravilak. Today I had classes in 9A 9B and 9C . I also got a substitution in 10 B and took them to the ground as it was there PT period. We also helped to serve the mid day meal.

DAY 39 (22/1/2024)

The 39th day of teaching practice started as I reached the school by 9:30 a.m. Regular classes where conducted. I had classes in any 9A 9B and 9C. During the last period I got a substitution in class 8 D and engaged them with activities to write about their favourite hobby. Some of the students wanted to sing so I allowed them to make the class interesting. During the lunch break I helped to serve the mid day meal. 

DAY 40 (23/1/2024)

The 40th day of teaching practice started as I reached School by 9:30 a.m. Regular classes were conducted and I had classes in 9A 9B and 9C. I also got a substitution in 10 C. As it  was the last day of teaching practice I distributed sweets among the students and teachers as a token of my love and gratitude. During the lunch break I helped to serve the mid day meal. The school was dispersed after the national anthem by 3:45 p.m.
