Teaching Practice (10/6/2024-15/6/2024)

 DAY 1(10/06/2024)

The first day of second phase of teaching practice was very exciting and we went back to our concerned schools with great hope and expectations. We reached the school by 9:30 am and marked our attendance. We were allotted room and schedule for the classes were also given. As per the timetable I had classes with 8B, 9B and 8A. During the fourth period I got a substitution for class 10A and took them for PT. As the new academic year had just started, students and teachers were preparing for it.

DAY 2(11/06/2024)

The second day of teaching practice was very engaging. We reached the school by 9:30 am and regular classes started at 10 am. As per the timetable I had classes in 9B and 8B. During the first period I got a substitution in class 10 C and engaged them with some discourses. Teachers were having  a meeting and trained teachers were asked to engage the class.

DAY 3( 12/06/2024)

The third day of teaching practice started as we reached the school by 9:30 am and marked our attendance in the HM's office. As per the time table I had classes in 9A, 9B and 8B classes. Today test for the selection of SPC candidates were conducted for the 8th standard students at 10:30 am in the school auditorium. Staff meeting was held during the fifth and sixth periods and we were asked to engage the classes.

DAY 4(13/06/2024)

The fourth day of teaching practice started as we reached the school by 9:30 am. During the first period distribution of free umbrellas for selected students were done. The teacher trainees helped to correct and score the SPC selection test papers. As per the time table I had classes in 9A 9B and 8B. During the first period I had a substitution for class 10 C and engaged them with language activities. During the fifth and sixth periods staff meeting was held and we were asked to engage the classes.

DAY 5(14/06/2024)

The fifth day of teaching practice started as we reached the school by 9:00 am. Today special assembly was conducted and a general awareness on health education was given by an official from the health department. Physical test for the SPC candidates was conducted and we helped the teachers throughout the procedure. Today I had classes in 9A, 9B and 8B.

DAY 6(15/06/2024)

The sixth day of teaching practice was a half working day as the school was the venue for PSC exam. Today I had classes in 8B. I also got a substitution period in class 9A. Selection for "Little KITES" was done in the IT lab for the 8th standard students. Arrangements were done for the PSC exam and school was dispersed by 12 pm.
